Laziness or taking a break?
So during the week I am on the run all the time, work is nuts, right now I have a ton of appointments leading up to my surgery and just have a lot going on. I just moved, date boy is coming for a visit and I cannot get motivated to get the rest of my stuff unpacked.
My house is in working order, I can cook and all that, but my walls are still empty and my office is half filled with stuff and filled tubs decor and misc. junk. I sit here on the computer chatting with you guys or watching TV instead of working on that. Yesterday I did do some reorganizing, but didn't finish it. My walls are plaster so it's not going to be easy to hang stuff on the walls, Dad gave me a suggestion on the best way to do it, but I'd have to go to the store to buy the stuff. ![]() My house is clean, I exercise, I work my butt off at work, I get done what I have to get done in my life so why can't I get motivated to get this done? Anyone else have things like this in your life? Do you procrastinate until you have to get it done? It's not that I don't want to do it, I want my house to look nice, I just lack motivation right now and I'm not sure why.

My best motivator is having company. Then I do the heavy cleaning. Otherwise, I always find a reason not to do it!
You've got plenty of time to unpack your stuff, at your own pace. And I'm sure "date boy" will understand!
