Hiya Syl! It's so hot up here.

Yes. The kids were up bright and early. Eager to start back up again.

It was a very nice 85 degrees at Smiley Creek. We took a drive/hike up 4th of July Creek road. I had not been on a 4-wheel drive only road in awhile. You know the ones that if you open the door, there is nowhere to go. Dave grew up driving on those types of roads...he's a total Idaho mountain boy so I totally trust him when he's driving. Well, we drove up to the end of this road and parked. We hiked a mile up to Priscilla Lake. It was gorgeous. Few skeeters, but absolutely beautiful....and cool.

Good for you Sol! Sounds beautiful! Our reserviors are running outta water quick over here. Soon I might need to don the wet suit and head up to Jackson Hole or Yellowstone lake.

That would be a nice trip!! I can imagine water is running low. Most of the vegetation around this area is very dry. We need some rain badly.
