Im sure any of the instructors from Mambo Café or La bodeguita would be very happy to give private lessons, there are a few, would you rather have a male or female instructor? and if so What would would you consider a fair hourly price for your class? Just so I know who to ask

Danny from Puerto Rico is excellent and although I have not taken any lessons from him, he is a very nice and patient person I can imagine he would be a great teacher and a lot of fun to dance with! I can send you a PM with his e mail and cel or post a couple of numbers here if they give me permission.

I am also looking for a teacher....I would love to have you join me. However, I intend to take leesons in my home. If you are only here till Sat. you should go to one of the clubs. There are people there most every night and always good partners for dancing. Let me know hwere u r going...maybe we can meet.

Yes, In some cases...but, only if you practice really hard, have great hair, perfect shoes, and big smile. It happened to me once. I was so lucky.

Hola Cristina! and Chacha!

info

According to the local salsa experts the best teacher arround is Nina her number is 044 984 7452744 there is another girl teaching in Basico when Nina is not there but I don´t have a number for her.

PM for e mail is she is comming back on saturday afternoon. land lines 984 803 02 97 and 873 18 55 she will be happy to give private lessons too.

Dany from Puerto Rico must be one of the best dance partners you could find here he is not able to do lessons just now, because he is very busy with other things, he is from Puerto Rico Pm for e mail cel number is 044 984 100 17 16 and he would love to go dancing with you!
Both of them gave me permission to put their numbers

Please use the cel nubers only when you are in Playa, receiving international calls on cell numbers here is very expensive, on the recieving end!

Ps Im not a salsa dancer, wish I was but Im too tall to be gracefull! :p

mambo cafe still going?

It's now March 2007--is Mambo cafe still the place to go for salsa dancing? I will be there on a Thursday and Friday night in a couple weeks. With a friend who will want lessons.
Any other good salsa places?
Thanks!

They don't have lessons at Mambo Cafe, but it is still the place to go as far as I know.
