Without taking too many outfits, I would suggest taking outfits that would fit different moods. That way, if you felt a bit bashful one evening, you would have the clothes that would go along with that. If you felt a bit less bashful the next night, you'd have an outfit to go with that as well.
I would be happy, for the cost of airfare and a place to sleep, to be your trip coach ![]()

I have been to Vegas 5 times, and always just bring my Mary Poppins bag. But then again, i like to gamble!
I usually don't really care what i look like. It is so hot, just like Playa, so i never even wear any makeup. That is just me though. How long are you guys going for? Wish i could go! Sounds like a blast! ![]() ![]()

I'd pack a Camelback, some thornproof tubes and long finger gloves. |

Ginger, I agree with Jesus. I'm not a big fan, but haven't heard any negs about his show. I'm more of a Stones and Robert Plant kinda weirdow. You gals might want to find a hypnotist show. As wild as you all seem to be, I'm sure you will enjoy it. I have only tried 2 of them but I laughed my balls off for a week.

My brother lives in Vegas. I just love to people watch. It is like a huge fashion show.
Don't bother with the light sweater if you are from Cali. If you like high heels and can stand them, then go for it sister. Daytime: little dresses, mini skirts, tight tops, big sunglasses, high heels in the form of platforms. If you have a designer bag or more, sport it. Louis Vuitton, followed by Coach is very popular. The latter has two outlets. flip flops are also good, but nice ones. Casual dressy. Break out the Rolex, Tag Heur, etc. Diamond or platinum earrings and other accessories. Good fakes are also accepted. All of this will be great for lunch, drinks or shopping at the fabulous stores in the casinos or Fashion Show Mall. Night: Like Ron said...wear what expresses you. If you want to be dressy...do it. Little black dresses...big earrings, latest hairstyles...again high heels. Or shorts...but with that kick ass body of your....dress to the nines!!! For night time, take a small handbag. All you need is your cell and atm card.

Thanks Jesus and Elvis for the answers.
I'm an absolutely HUMONGO Elton fan. I adore him, quite simply. His music has both made me cry and brought me great joy at various points in my life. It has been a dream of mine to see him, but I was unable to get tickets when he came to Vancouver. |

You are welcome!!! I am such a slug when I am in Las Vegas. The heat freaks me out so I will wear shorts, flip flops, and some type of t-shirt. I usally party in the afternoon, eat an early dinner, and then head to my sibling's house.
One of thes days, I am going to stay at the Bellagio, take some nice evening clothes, and go nuts in town. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I will do all of what I suggested to you except in a size 2X-3X.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Here's a whole thread, including pictures. Substitute your favorite designer labels and there ya go: what to wear in Vegas.
Take out half of what you think you need - I had an easy double packed.Seriously though, consider that the hotels have mostly marble flooring with patches of carpet that you will be seeking out, comfortable footwear is a must! If you won't compromise pick up gel insoles. Enjoy the trip - it's a great place for great memories (whether you remember them or not). |
