Barbacoa is roast prepared in a pit or it is simmered very slowly in a pot, on top of the stove. After it is cooked, the meat is shredded. For tacos, it will be shredded and chopped. If you like roast, then you might enjoy these tacos.
The VW bus which is on 12th street between 5th and 10th aves. serves barbacoa tacos. They are delicious.
