It is a must. Let me tell ya, It was a must last trip in January. It was the only bad day of our trip. the front desk people at the bahai made it sound like I could just get dropped off along 307 then walk into akumal. well from the corner we walked and walked and never got there. grabbed a taxi and spent the day in Playa instead. I never made it to akumal. This time i will have my own car.
I only put maybe to keep my wife from thinkin i/we had too many must dos. I was very torqued about not having seen Akumal, since that is were i really wanted to go in Jan. The iguana condo was the one if i remeber right. but the AI was more in our comfort zone. I wanted to just grab some flights and then go to akumal.
But we loved the bahai. damn trip was just too short
