Thanks everyone, you have no idea how much I've been crying today. Michael had said last week that if he didn't get better he would take him to the vet on Thursday and they would make a decision. I just cannot bear the thought of putting him to sleep. I did that with Kady last year and it was extremely hard. Iggy has been with me for 6 years now, and it was a very hard time in my life during the beginning and he was there for me every step of the way... now I feel like such a failure because I can't help him get better.

Awww honey, please do not feel that way. You gave them your love for as long as you could. They are not dying because of you. That is just doggie life! I know, it sucks ass. Give him lot's of hugs and kisses in his last few days.

Thank you all, its been tough with my grandma passing a month before, but we're holding in.

The shelter is something we care much about and want to help as much as possible

You didn't miss anything. I don't think I said anything about my grandma since we asked for donations to the area special olympics(my uncle was mentally challenged so we felt she would've liked that) but for my grandpa we're going to ask for donation to the PPS

i can't even imagine how hard that must be to lose them so close together like that. My condolences to you and your family.

Wow I have been out of the loop a bit. Sorry to hear about your Iggy Lucy, my thoughts and prayers are with you and family and of course Iggy. I hope Iggy improves and that their is still some more life in Iggy yet. Life throws us some tough decisions some times and I know it is not easy.

Thank you, Gary. It is extremely tough. But I'm not losing hope and I keep praying that he improves.
