She is such a sweet looking little dog.... I wish I could cuddle with her.

Off topic a bit..... my dog has been acting very strange today. He tried to bite me today when I was trying to get something away from him, and I once forced his mouth open to get chicken bones from him without him trying to bite. Then this evening when we were just sitting on the sofa, Tim was scratching and petting his neck and he suddenly jumped up and tried to bite him. He's never tried to bite before!

He is such a gentle lovable dog, I don't know what to make of it.

Hi Jilly,

It's possible that he has a toothache??? Maybe he has some pain going on?

Oh! I'm so sorry to read this.
The first thing that comes to mind is that he's not feeling well.
Have you seen any other differences in eating habits? Has he been lethargic? Anything different?
Can you get him over to the vet to explain what happened and for a quick check-up?

My first reaction is about the same. There may be a pain issue. Maybe teeth. or something else.

Maybe it's an ear infection if he tries to bite when you scratch him. Like he's warning you it hurts. It happened to me with one of my cats, took him to the vet and I couldn't believe what was in those ears!

Thanks everyone! I will call the vet today. He was acting a little "off" all day yesterday. I just had him into the vet in September for his annual checkup and his ears and teeth were okay then, but I suppose changes can happen fast.

He's only 4 years old.

I hope your baby is OK and it is nothing serious.
