mmmmm I just wish. The house where I'm staying now ( not the one in tohoku, as i have construction in my face and i can't stand it, its impossible even to leave there lil rosie during the day, she gets so scared by the noises), has no garden or patio, jus balconies. It's a thought, though....

Anna,
I agree with JillyinMn. Wait until you get into your new place and then bring Miss Mimi home!!!! You can always ask Andy to keep her for you while you look. ![]() I think a sister for Princess Rosie would be prefect for her. She wouldn't be lonely while you are at work.

Ok, Mimi is NOT going to be Lil Rosies lil Sister. Had I a huge garden house ( like my sis here) she'd be IN, but in a condominium...we'd get kicked out immediately, rthe 3 of us.

I have a question for Anna - or anyone else who lives in Playa with a dog. If you don't have a garden attached to your house...or live in a condo as I'm going to be living, how difficult is it to find green space for a dog to run/play in Playa?
Is there a doggie park? Or dog friendly 'off leash' park? Or do you always simply walk your dogs with a leash - never letting them just run? - Marissa Last edited by tvlbabe423; 11-05-2007 at 02:11 PM.. |

Unfortunately, Playa is NOT dog-friendly ( jnot allowed on the beach, always on leash, no dog park to run free). I take her out the most I can, and in the evenings, when its later and no people around, at the beach ( when I can). Playa still has something ( and more) to learn from other countries, where there are areas just for dogs, where they can run and play ). Being there a lot of stray dogs, and not a very compassionate population for 4 legged animales, the result is that the dog is a sad prisoner of the leash. Always.

Anna,
Thanks. I was afraid that was going to be the answer. You do take Rosie to the beach (later in the evenings) even though it is not allowed? I am glad to hear that. Do the police ticket if they find you on the beach with a dog? |
