Andy,
I cannot believe that efffing vet! Worthless excuse for a human being. and he calls himself a veterinarian. What in the hell is he doing taking care of animals if he doesn't care about dogs that are not purebred? How frustrating it must have been for you and Jen!! That man lacks a heart.
I am glad that you got your passport and visa issues resolved.

I wanted to thank you all for your support, especially Maureen for helping. Thank you, your positive thoughts brought her back home!

Again, thank you all for your enthusiasm and for sharing your joy with me! Just a couple of pix taken tonight of emma reunited with her dog and sharing her biscuits with her (and ecstasy milla close behind ).
BTW, ALPINA in italian means from the mountains, funny you should write that, I just imagined her with a big cow bell round her neck . her real name Apina isn't much better now that I think of it. In italian it means little bee

Yikes Andy & Jen!!!! You have so much going on right now but still manage to find time to give so much of yourselves! Awesome! Did you find a new vet? Can you buy tick collars there or do they need to be muled down?

Take care!

Great pics of Emma and her buddies!! In Italian, Apina may mean little bee, but for people like me who don't have a clue, I think it is an elegant sounding name for such a beautiful dog. Milla is a great name too.

I'll keep the meaning of her name a secret then so she sounds more exotic! the only great thing about milla is her name . seriously, she is not a dog, she is something else in disguise - still have to figure out what. but we still love her (wonder why no one takes HER? )

I will be OK with believing it is an elegant Italian name for a dog.

Hmmm, a lesson for all of us; be careful who you trust.
I'm so glad that you have both worked through this painful time. It just goes to show your strength of mind, determination and love of what you do. Well done.
You are truly an inspiration.

A big hug to you both Andy and Jen.
I look forward to reading more about the registered charity when you have your tinternet sorted.
(And a big yeay for Apina coming home! )
