I am so tickled to see this pic of Angel with Baby!!

When I arrived at the Alhambra, Angel checked me in. He asked me why I had two suitcases (i.e. so much luggage). I explained that I had brought items for the doggie adoption center, and he immediately exclaimed, "Really?? Where is it??? I want a dog!! I want a dog!!" I told him I didn't know where the shelter was but that Alicia would know. I think he asked everyone who went by, "Are you Alicia???" until he finally hooked up with her.

It was a delight to see him excitedly tell how Cuca quickly relaxed into her new home and would sleep with him and jump up on the couch and watch TV with him. He was just SOOO happy to have her as part of his family!!

Andy and Jen, thanks for the update on the shelter. You've already made a big difference in many lives - not just the animals, but the photo of Angel with Cuca is what it is all about. Great job!

I've started my "corner" for you and have some nice collars that are too small for the ones I have coming in, and I just re-ordered some miscellaneous supplies and upped the quantities a bit. Can you use one or two "belly bands"? They go around the lower section of the male dog when they're inside and their potty training needs some work. They're a great help when I'm trying to housetrain some of these pooches who have never lived in a house. Perhaps I can find someone to send some items to this fall and bring the rest when we come in Feb. Looking forward to meeting you.

Thanks so much for the pictures Andy!

Gee... I was almost in tears looking at them and have you tell about Vidas, Gizmo, new adoptees

, people taking advantage, people lying, a new born kitten that you helped bring into the world, the wonderful donations from the chicas, scared animals that you held.........anyway I was reading the thread at work and a coworker was standing behind me also reading it and looking at the pictures, she asked me when I was going to make another donation...I told her this weekend, right then and there she gave me some money to be dontated to you guys!

Like me, she is in awe of the work you and Jen do!

Maybe we could get the Extreme House Makeover team to build us some more kennels... i can just see the guy with the megaphone (Ty?) shouting orders with all the dogs running around his feet......oh one can dream

Big huggie and kissy to my E-adopted baby Sophie this morning. Thank you for posting her picture for me to see. You say she is a naughty girl, awwww!! Not my little Sophie angel, hehe

I love all of the pictures Andy and Jen!! I can't say it enough, what wonderful people you are. Hope to see you next week one day while I am in town. I want to make a donation and get as many puppy and kitty hugs and kisses as I can
