I should have added that if this "hypothetical" adoption was to go ahead we would make sure all of the relevant vetinary paperwork was in order before the prospective new owner came down.

Bernie was the puppy I picked up and held when the litter was still at the construction site...waaahhh I love him. I'm so glad Andy and Jen claimed him as their own. I wish I had room for more dogs.

Hello everyone,

I don't post much here but I am an avid reader. I first found this site when I was planning my honeymoon almost 4 yeas ago. I want to say that I admire Andy and Jen for taking this on. My goal is to someday help rescue animals as well. My dog and I say prayers for homeless, hurt, and sick animals every night. I told my husband the other day that we need to win the lottery so I could save animals.

Thank you for posting this information and for helping all those animals, and the animals in the future. You guys have a special place in heaven.

Hi Ginger, honestly im not 100% sure but from what i have been told by Canadian peeps it is just as straightforward, i will search for the official info and post it here.
We have dogs and pups of all sizes, the ones the kids are holding are small babies and i dont think they will grow very big, they are much smaller than Tommy and Bernie were at that age .

Wanted to add to make SURE the "hypothetical airline" will accept carriage of animals if that is your mode of travel!

Ohhh, Andy, I've got my daughter Kelsey on the job now!

I showed her this post and, after some eardrum-piercing squeals, the Peanut Shelter has now become her charity of choice to work on. I don't know if you've read many of my posts about Kelsey, but when she gets it in her mind about a charity, she really throws everything into it. Her brother and her have already started designing posters and flyers to distribute to the neighbours and put up at the dogpark we frequent to solicit donations of dinero and gifts; they do two fairly large bottle drives a year and usually donate the money to the local SPCA but they now decided to direct the money to the Peanut shelter; they are also going to start the week after next (when they return from camp) going vet clinic to vet clinic and shelter to shelter up here with a flyer to solicit help, donations, and animal literature for your shelter!

THey are determined to have a whole lotta' stuff to bring you down on our next trip there.
