I've been away for a couple of days.
Coming back to this post makes me SOOOOOO happy!

I need someone to mule it down to you all. What about George's new person? I think I recall you saying he/she was flying down to get the dog. The scope, wrapped, could easily fit in a carry-on. Can you contact them and connect us? I can ship it out to George's person right away.

Let me know - Julie
If this doesn't work out I'm leaving on April 5th. It's five weeks away, so if you don't find anyone to take it before then I'd be happy to do it.

I work in Bloomington and could meet you some day to pick it up.

Thank You! I think with the website mentioned, that's a whole lot of free advertising! I am hoping lots of readers will check it out and hopefully add some $$s to the puppy bank account

I am SO glad that Tasha has found a loving new home!!!!! I remember like yesterday how she slept on my lap at the shelter right after returning to it and was just looking rough and tired beyond belief. To look at her on pics now and think that aside from the fact that she has her fur back and put on some weight she is now getting the love she deserves is wonderful and heartwarming!!!!

Also kudos to you, Leia, for that wonderful article which will hopefully direct more attention to this great cause.

Tasha is adapting well to the cold weather and snow and her new family. I'm guessing that after a couple of months gaining weight and muscle tone she'll look look like a new dog. Tomorrow I'm starting her out walking with the retractable lead out on the road ditches....good regular exercise for this little one!

aww, you guys are so great to have given Tasha a home That pic of her in the snow is awesome! In the previous pics she's perky, ears pricked, happy girl. Her body language in the snow pic says it all- wtf have you guys gotten me into???? I bet she'll love it once she gets used to it

I haven't been on the boards much lately but I just had to chime in here and say that Andy and Jen must be angels for starting this place The Peanut shelter looks like a wonderful (and unfortunately sorely needed) place. Jeremy and I will have to visit on our next trip to Playa

Hi. We had a great wash day yesterday with Claire, Maureen, Linda (Doggiemom), Vickie and more.

The lovely Dieter was adopted. And I saw him (and his new owners) on 5th later in the day and he was sooooooo happy! Walking around and seeing the sites! There was the biggest smile on his doggie face! It just warmed my heart!

It appears Tasha is fully accepted by her new siblings. No just anyone gets an invitation to lay on the dog couch. I hope Remy the lab looks before he rolls over, or Tasha will get squished like a bug. Remy has been very kind and gentle with Tasha, he offers her toys every few minutes, and plays with her very gently.
