Great pictures Andy. Quick question on Mutt the poodle. Is that the dog that someone here on the forum found who had a collar and everything? Or did that dog finally find its owner? I remember a while back reading about a poodle that someone had found, but haven't heard anything else on him/her.

For anyone who isn't sick unto death of hearing Tasha updates:
She is just under 24 pounds now, the oinker! She is pretty sure she is all that and a bag of chips It turns out she has naturally curly fur, just like Mom![]() She is officially too big to be my lapdog now![]() She runs this house with a curious mix of unlimited affection and an iron paw, and... She can take down a dog three times her size with no apparent effort.

Don't chit yourself Heather, I think we needed her just as much as she needed us!
![]() ![]() She has morphed into such a little beauty. I mean she was cute as a button when she picked us out, but now, she's really a head turner. She's a great little ambassador for the pet Shelter

Hey Jan & Erik,
As far as I'm concerned Tasha IS the Official Ambassador for the Shelter in the states. I will never tire of hearing of her good life with you! Her story is one of the most incredible success stories for the Shelter. The before & after photos are proof positive (I'm going to post a "before" as soon as I find it). She was quite the "underdog" at the Shelter in terms of health. It seriously broke my heart to see Tasha week after week...tiny, skin & bones, but wagging her tail away. She stole so many hearts. Libby & Joana know.....she spent so much time on their laps getting lots of affection & love. Sometimes I think it was all the love that Andy, Jen & other provided that gave sweet Tasha that spirit & will to live.....because she certainly was a walking skeleton! Then you, Jan & Erik entered the picture......Jan raised a TON of money for the Shelter with her Jewelry sales (While Erik played the Blues on the stage at Bad Boyz)...incredible jewelry...such a fun day.....Erik & Jan fell in love with Tasha at the Dog Wash .....they took this very sicky little girl to the states.....provided her with the best of the best care (University Hospital care & tests) & look at the feisty little girl today!!! I choose to believe that all the love she got...carried her through to where she needed to be.....with you Jan & Erik (Bluespicker & himynameisjan). Jan & Erik we know the suffering has no borders....It's so wonderful that your compassion knows no borders! |
