We found the kitten a home yesterday night, my roomate talked a friend of his into adopting the kitty, good people, the cat will love his new home. A big thank you to all who replied and gave info, thanks to Andy&Jen for providing this indispensable service to the PDC comunity. If ever you guys need an IT consultant (if ever your computer(s) go to shit) at the pet shelter, just holler and it'de be my pleasure to help out.

Wonderful news!! Thank you for your kindness in giving the little kitty a temporary home........and for your generous offer of IT help! They sure may need it when they move into the bigger facility!

Hi guys, sorry i have not been giving this thread the usual attention but with the fundraiser, shelter building and a bad case of the gastric bug going around playa i have been a bit pre-occupied, i will be updating with new pics soon.

A guy I work with today came up to me and wanted to do something for "my" animal shelter in Playa....ok, so I talk about it ... ALOT! Anyway he suggested we do something like a bake sale at work to raise some $$$$$, he loves to bake, says he would do it all! Another co-worker's husband works at the culinary institute here in Houston and the students are always making/baking things so she volunteered them to contribute too! It warms my heart to know that people who know nothing about the shelter, of course what I tell them that is, and they want to help! Just thought I'd share........
