Well we now have six brand new additions to the shelter, the young dog that was tied to the gate and i had in quarintine for 10 days gave birth to six little babies yesterday and i was there to see a couple being born, a strange but wonderful experience.
I didnt take a pic yet as i didnt want to scare her with a flash but i will try to get a photo later when she is a bit more relaxed ![]() And on the continuing saga of being taken advantage of in Mexico,it turns out that the guy we paid $8000 peso to for getting our FM3,s did nothing and now we face the joy of having to leave the country to get another visa... so a 3 day trip to Belize is on the cards, big problemo... how to find someone to look after 70 dogs while we are gone, i am looking at another option so maybe things will work out. Little Day-Z left for the US yesterday and there is a family coming today hopefully to adopt

Hi Andy!
I hope to run into you this week mi amigo! Coming to Playa with my 14 year old son tomorrow until Saturday. Just a quickie this time. I was hoping to take him to see the shelter, but unfortunately we won't be there for wash day. I'd have to watch from afar anyhow....or I'd be an itching red rash mess. And that happens with one dog.........never mind 70!! Its strange........I've never had a problem with our dog (hair not fur and non allergenic) but when I'm away for a week or two, it seems when I get back to her I get a bit itchy! Guess its a matter of getting immune all over again. Anyhow........I hope to at least see you and my son could meet you..........and of course buy you a beer or two! ![]() Hugs to you and Jen, ~Kim |

Andy - can you post pictures of Sophie? I believe she's the one I've had my eye on that Steve is STILL putting his foot down about. I need some really sweet photos to help in my plea for another doggie in the house! She reminds me a lot of his late (and favorite dog) Shareh. The big ears are what does it for me. She's the one that's been there a really long time, right?
