Unfortunatly due to a littele shower we had earlier no one turned up so all the dogs remained unwashed this week
.So no puppy wash pics for you but i have been taking a few through the week and i will get them up shortly.. We (as most of you know) have been waiting patiently for the new shelter website to make its appearence but for reasons unknown this has failed to happen so we are going back to the origional and hopefully we will soon have a small forum added so you guys can chat about your pets and ask for advice etc. I will let you know when we are up and running

Hi all a quick update for the Peanut Pet Shelter.
As well as an addition to the facebook page, the ORIGINAL webpage has now been updated with new photos of adoptable dogs in the PlayaPets section. It's taken a little while, but the webpage will now soon pick up the slack from it's temporary hiatus. The forum is working fine on there too, so feel free to give that a look see. Thank you. To all pet lovers...& Playa lovers
Oh boy do I feel really bad. I just registered on the peanut pet shelter, and from what I can see there are NO active posts on there. Or I have not found them yet. OMGosh.... when I think of all the money we gave in tips for our waiters & bartenders while in Playa, if I had only known that it was this much of a stuggle for these poor pets and the wonderful people trying to run the peanit pet shelter, I would HAVE made sure to help out while I was there. But having never been to Mexico before it wasn't exactly the first thing on my mind ( a pet shelter). But now that I know..... it will be the first thing on my mind when I get to Playa again next summer. Starting tomorrow I am going to be putting all my spare change from my lunch everyday that ends up in the bottom of my purse, and put it aside for the peanut pet shelter. I'll never miss it.
So if you are a animal lover and even if you can't donate, maybe we can atleast get that pet board active and make more people like me more aware.? |

I have met soooo many Playa vacationers that can't wait to help the shelter, whether it be dog wash, donations, etc......![]() ![]() It's venues like play.info and word of mouth that makes vacationers aware of what's going on in thier slice of vacation paradise!
