Ok guys, we have yet another PPS fundraiser. I bought around 100 keychain/bottle openers and had them custom made with the Peanut logo on the front and the website on the back. I am donating them to the shelter and will send them down to Andy. They will benefit our favorite shelter animals!!!

Maureen has graciously agreed to mule some down. I Pm'd Andy and a good price for them would be $5.00. But hey peeps, they are for a good cause!!!!! (oh, and hint, hint, they are a perfect match for the PPS Koozie too!)

And once again...I am very happy for my little sponsor girl, Bambi. I wish her a lifetime of love!

Help support the Peanut Pet Shelter, Playa Del Carmen, Mexico

We are holding a fundraiser to help raise funds for Peanut Pet Shelter’s Cat Haven/Clinic. This growing shelter is run by Andy and Jen, a couple from Britain who started this shelter out of their home around 2 years ago. They have been taking in abandoned dogs and cats that they find on the streets. Most of the animals have been beaten, hit by cars or tortured. They nurse them back to health, get them all their shots, spay/neuter them and then try to relocate them to good homes. They are currently at 70+ dogs/puppies and cats/kittens. They were lucky enough to get a piece of vacant land to build their Cat Haven/Clinic, but they will need to build the clinic themselves and are asking for help. The clinic will be used by the volunteer vets to spay/neuter the animals in the shelter and those owned by the people in the community that cannot afford to pay to have their pets spayed or neutered. We will be raffling off the Lia Sophia Necklace and Earrings set pictured below (retail value $108.00). Tickets will be $5.00 each. Please make checks payable to Lucelena Escarpita. With all that was going on with my dog, I got confussed I thought my fund raiser was this week but it is next week Feb.17-23rd!! Anyway my mom and I were at Starbucks this AM and I got to talking to this lady who had her dog with her!!! And I was telling her about my fund raiser next week for the PPS. One thing lead to another her vet showed up, she told her vet what we were doing next week. She then introduced me to her vet and the vet told me to come by her office today at 12:00 to pick up a whole of meds!!!! another good day at Starbucks and the fund raiser has not even started yet!!!!!!

I guess I am still in a cloud!!! Aug. 17-23!!!! I stopped by the vets office a got a full box of meds, just like she said!!! Alot of good ones!!

Okay I finally got up with the guy from our local news station late yesterday!!! We have it ALL set up to tape the sound byte for the PPS fund raiser next Sunday at 10:30AM at my local Starbucks!!! My mom has also donated 2- $25.00 gift cards from Starbucks 1-$25.00 gas card and 1- $25.00 gift card to The Fresh Market for our PPS raffle!!!!!! We are hoping this will encourage people to give more $$$$$
