Small world
Hey everyone....I have only posted on here one or two times...I am much more a "lurker" than a poster, but I am so excited right now, I just wanted to share this bit of news...
First some history....going back about a month ago, I heard about this website from my significant other, who was scouring the net looking for transportation to our resort. He stumbled upon this website, and more particuarly this thread. With me already having a very tender spot for dogs, I quickly started browing through the 400+ pages of this thread. I admit it, I was "hooked". During my short visit in PDC, I was able to spend a wee bit of time visiting the shelter and met Babaloo, Andy and Jen. What sweet, awesome people! So a month has now gone by since my return home and I still haven't gotten the PPS out of my mind. I want to be able to do something to help... Anyway, while browsing some wanted ads tonight, I ran across an ad of someone trying to find a good home for their dog. They mentioned their dog came from MX, but no mention as to where in MX. Heck...that could be anywhere...but I emailed the person posting the ad & just wanted to give them a shout out for the kind deed they are doing (and I happened to mention PPS) ...and would you believe it....she is totally aware of PPS and Andy & Jen...in fact she mentioned she's gotten several of her dogs from you guys. How freakin awesome is that?!!! We are now trading emails and hoping to have coffee soon to see how we both can help support PPS  Okay...that's my "big" news. I am so excited I just had to come out of my 'lurking' state and share my joy. Happy, happy, joy, joy Onward to my goal of helping PPS anyway I can......................... -Missy |
