Great pics Rick- loved these expressions!


Photos taken by Rick of puppies getting baths at the shelter??? This is a big event at our house, so we all got around the computer last night. The commentary cracked me up:

Rob: "You can tell Rick is really into Susie. There's only one picture of that Debbie."

Ally, shocked: "Of course, Dad, he's with Susie." ( Ally thinks Susie rocks! She now reads nutrition labels at the grocery store for high fructose corn syrup because she was so impressed by Susie- I love it.)
"And anyway, why would you want to look at some lady when you can look at puppy pictures?"

They both think Rick should shoot a promotional Shelter calendar. I think they're each envisioning a different type of calendar

My 3 do NOT like baths either...and today is bath day (shhhh, they don't know it yet) Charlie stands there and has this REALLY pissed off look on her face, Jack is kinda good, but Kelly acts like you are killing her, can't figure that dog out because she LOVES the pool.

my dogs will only drink "cold" water so they often drink from the toilet
I always have ice in their water, but Chuck says that's just too "spoiled"
I say he's just too lazy to do it for them

Mine have never shown any interest in toilet water.....good thing huh Now pool water is another story...their very own GIAGANTIC water bowl!

Sheesh, guys. There are 3 others in this household that have an opinion, too, ya know.

Mimi is a sweetheart, for sure, but I think Rick would make a greater contribution by giving of his time every week to help many dogs, not just one, don't you?
