Hi Everyone,

Joe and I just returned from a long weekend.
I'm really sleepy (and, okay...lazy...) so...anyone want to fill me in on the highlights of what I've missed since Saturday?
Hope all is well and dogs and kitties are healthy and happy!

Guitar Playa thank you so much for this what an amazing thing you are doing for us, i bow to Heathers better knowledge as i dont know how that would work, if you could do a cash collection that would be fantastic, or perhaps we could find a peep in the US that would be willing to have anything put into thier account to be forwarded on.
I am looking forward to meeting you when you come down here.

I am starting a donation drive at the park for your shelter and have a question concerning peeps that would like to make a cash donation but do not have a paypal account. How would you like this situation handled?
Items like collars, leashes and toys I will bring with me as I will be in Playa the week of Oct 15 and Dec 1.
I have also asked our park members to pass along your story to their vets to see if they can donate any medical supplies or medication samples.

Hey, about dem watches.....

Phyllis has just told me that what I thought were "dark brown" bands are really just a lighter shade of black (I hate gettin old) SOooo..... IF that makes any difference.
I have several ready to send- just waiting on the good ole USPS. So it's Dark Green, White or BLACK!

So Dulce, Peaches and Kylie all paid a visit to the vet yesterday.

Dulce has had a nasty cough for a couple of days and has notbeen eating properly, she was checked over and the poor we thing had a touch of bronchitis, she was given a few injections of anti0biotics, and something to release the mucus on her chest and stayed last night, for some peace and quiet, i will be picking her up later today.

Peaches is in a bit of a state with mange and itches like crazy so she had the first of her shots to start clearing this up along with a medicated bath and she seemed a lot happier after it, i will continue with the bathing and hydracourtisan spray to control her itch and she goesback next week for a second round of injections.

Kylie had her eye checked as her whole socket area seemed quite swollen, the vet thinks she has been hit or kicked at some point but there may be an abcess there because of this, she had some meds to bring the sweling down so i will have to keep an eye on her, she also had the first of her shots.

Thank you all who have generously given items for our auction

and also to those who have donated money recently, i do get a little behind with thanking you all and i apologise for that.

We so really appreciate all of you because without you we couldnt do this.

ok all is peaches a boy or a girl??? at first he was a boy but in update post Andy has made him a she. or is the name just throwing Andy off? my mom and I were having a disagreement about lil peaches last nite, she thinks he's a girl, i swear he's a boy.

A good friend of mine is going to be in Playa on Sunday and has generously voluteered to mule them down for me! (ok, so I twisted his arm.....just a bit

) J/K....he too is a dog freak!

Yes sorry Peaches,,,, is a Boy, the lady that found him named him but he is happy with the name

Loree sent us some really great stuff down including a couple of doggy t-shirts sooo, its modeling time

This is Luna in a cute little pink Rugby shirt

and Mimi wearing the same, it fits her better

She was happy to pose

Pogo however was not

Ever seen a dog sulking

He was however quite taken with his chattering monkey
