I will keep you updated. I know its not a big deal, its done every day, but she's my babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I felt so guilty this morning when I left for work, she didn't know waht was going to happen, its like I was lying to her...and she was looking at me and wagging her long mousy tail.. But i know she'll be fine!

I'm sure Paco can tell you the most comfortable things to do for her. Maybe you'll carry her outside to go to the bathroom. Maybe you can put some chairs next to the bed so she doesn't roll off.
You might consider making her a nice soft bed on the floor next to you, though, if she's still really groggy.
A couple of hours will go by soon and you'll be with your little baby again! More hugs to you! Please keep us posted.

Rosie will be fine!!!!! Paco fixed Milla a few months ago, the stitches were maybe 3 or 4, you could barely see them! Milla was very quiet for a few hours - I LOVED IT, FIRST AND LAST TIME IT EVER HAPPENED. She walked and ate and was normal, just sleepy.
THANK GOD YOU DON'T HAVE A BABY

Anna,
I always feel terrible when I drop my dogs off at the vets for surgery. Little Rosie will be a little groggy when you pick her up. Ask Paco what you should give her for pain. Some dogs experience some pain. She'll be fine in bed with you. She might not be too hungry this evening but she might want some water.

I already have to deal with YOUR panic attacks for your baby. More than enough thanks.

It is a big deal....I'd worry just the same.
She'll be okay, though. You'll see. You'll get a big kiss tonight when you get her.
I'll be looking for your message when I get home from work later on.
Take care!

Wish I could go there now, but I'll have to wait a few hours before taking her home....and I can't stand to see animals when they'r half drugged, stumbling over.
p.s- will she pee on my bed when I take her home???? Should I put some towels, or make her sleep on the floor, in case she falls off the bed???
Awww, poor Rosie! Size and age probably factor in to how the poor babies feel afterwards, but neither of my Collie girls peed or did anything like that...one just seemed very sore for about a week and wouldn't get up on the bed. (Bet Rosi won't want to go see Paco any time soon, no matter how charming he is)

It does seem to be easier on the boys when they get "fixed." Tommy(who, as Ally says, had no idea he was "broken")sure didn't slow down after his little operation.
Vet told us not to let him run off the leash for a week, so as soon as we arrived home with him, our cat (smart, plotting feline that he is)opened the door and let Tom out and he zoomed around the neighborhood at top speed, causing his incision to bleed a little. This didn't slow him down one bit, unfortunately.

Especially because after you have a baby, the baby feels fine and YOU are the one who is sore and doesn't want to move (I know, TMI I couldn't resist.)
Not trying to scare you or anything Anna- you seem like you'd be a great mom!

I'd have some serious doubts about that. Lil Rosie is enough.
