Reef Coco Beach

We spent two weeks there at xmas and had an excellent time. Did write a report back in January on the following site which has lots of reviews:

Here's a copy of our post:

We just returned today from two great weeks at the RCB. This is our second trip to the Mayan Riviera this year - stayed at the Palladium in March. We really like the size of the resort compared to the larger resorts. It only took a few minutes to go from the beach to your room to the restaurants. If you forgot something, it was a quick trip to get it. There was also no problem getting beach chairs, something that was a real problem at the Paladium. Surprised that some have mentioned no tennis court - it is on the roof above the theatre... there is also a basketball court there. Staff were excellent. Expecially Melina for the miniclub and Ana at the fitness center. Beach is excellent with beautiful sand. We took boogie boards out virtually every day to surf the waves (go about five to ten minutes either side to get the best surf). Food varied. When it was good it was fantasitic. They do some great fajitas and shrimp; very fresh. The snack bar was also excellent, much better than the Palladium. Was also surprised that they did not charge us for the use of the electronic safe (we used them in each of our two rooms). Also they supplied a cot for our third child for no charge. It was somewhat difficult to get but after a bit of asking, got it for the fourth night. They did a really excellent job at both Christmas (Nativity play on the beach) and at New Years (Fantastic party, food and show). I'd give it an excellent rating, but there are still a few areas that they need to improved upon - mainly consistency of the food with a few of the buffets being disappointing. But overall an excellent vacation spot and would certainly consider returning.
