Oh...no one loved smoking more than me...I just came to hate that I had to plan my day around it and always carry either perfume, gum, anti bacterial hand cleaner, scented lotion or all of the above, with me all of the time. Now...I just need to start working out to shed the 20 lbs that I gained when I quit before that I have not been able to loose! and try not to gain anymore!

It's so easy to kick it up a notch, especially when you are in your car all day. I am selling my SUV because it's such a gas guzzler and does not make sense to bring it to Playa (buying smaller car) so I am going to need to air this thing out just so someone will WANT to buy it!

WW is wonderful! After my second daughter was born I lost 10 lbs on their program & from I understand it's much easier now. It really is an excellent program and the most healthy. They have an on-line option but there's something about getting on that scale in front of someone else that adds to the motivation.

I did my program on line (at the time it was something like $15/month - don't know what it costs now). The whole "group pressure" thing doesn't work for me. WW is (or at least it was in 2003) an easy-to-understand, easy-to-follow program. It's the only time in my life I've ever been on a "diet", and as long as you're honest with yourself about what you eat and what you do for exercise (I was a morning walker), then the weight WILL come off. And what I learned during the months I was on it, I still carry with me today - especially learning about portions!

I know a few people that have quit using CHANTIX.
I tried hypnosis and the gum, but that didn't work. My husband and I both quit cold turkey, right after his second heart attack ...It's been 14 years for us! ![]() IT'S SOOOO WORTH IT! ... GOOD LUCK!!!! |
