Palm TX

I know this thread isn't about palms but could someone please please help me?
I recently bought a palm tx (I'd rather have an ipod or iphone but my company would pay for a palm.)
How do I transfer mp3's onto my palm tx? This is what I have done so far...
All of my music is stored in itunes but not bought from the itunes store, it is all copied from CDs. I couldn't figure out how to copy from itunes so I am using Windows Media 9, a card reader and a 1 GB expansion card. I have copied the CDs onto Windows Media then copied them onto the expansion card and I can SEE the music on my expansion card but I can't seem to get it onto my palm tx. I created an "audio" folder and all the music is in that folder and I can see it and play it from the card reader I just can't get it onto the palm. What am I doing wrong? Did I put the Audio folder in the wrong spot or what? Please help. I have been researching this and trying to be successful and now am getting so frustrated. I really just need step by step directions. Why does this have to be so difficult? (I know, I know, I should have bought an ipod but since my company is paying for the palm tx I don't want both.)

I have a Nokia PPC and all I have to do is hook it up to my laptop.....Once it recognizes it I go into the PPC and open up my music folder I then just copy and paste the tunes I want in there.....

According to Palm's web site, you can only install audio files to an expansion card, and not to the Palm's internal memory. To install the audio files, you will need to perform a HotSync operation after placing the files into the Install Tool. For instructions on installing audio files check out the info on Palm's Knowledge Library (under the Support tab) found here. If you're using PocketTunes as your media player on the Palm, you might also find this support info helpful as it provides step-by-step instructions including screen shots.
