Oh you poor BC people....my heart bleeds.
![]() No, really it does. ![]() Honest! ![]() Okay not really! ![]() ![]() ![]() Normally we have to put up with hearing you brag all winter about how nice it is there (*yawn* if you think fog and rain all the time is 'nice' ![]() ).We have been having an absolutely gorgeous summer here in the land of living skies. Sunny, hot, even a little humid. My lawn is green, the flowers are thriving, the skeeters are all dead, we can sit out on the deck til midnight with shorts and tanks on only....ahhhhh, payback is a bitch! |

I would so rather be hot than cold. Here in Cornfield middle of the state Illinois its almost 90.F by 11am rises and stays above 90.F until about 1am. Heat index 102 to 107 for today.
I wait and do the outdoor stuff until about 8pm, if the sun is not beating on you its not so bad. I always think about those poor bastards that roof houses or seal/oil roads/driveways for a living. Its a lot easier to regulate your body with the heat.(sweating and drinking lots of fluids) But once you get too cold there is no going on, just have to go inside. I dont mind the heat but...I sure as heck wouldnt want to be anywhere around here!!

I guess I really shouldn't be complaining, we already got our annual one week of 20-29c (68-84f) and 4-5 days of 30-35c (86-95f). Plus, we had an awesome spring..........
![]() First day of spring matter of fact!! ![]() ![]() Screw this, one day I'll relocate to Kelowna or Penticton and just commute weekly on Central Mountain Air, 3 days at work, 4 in the Okanagan, etc. This place could suck-start a tractor it sucks so bad. ![]()
