If it's any consolation to you, I had one hand over the heat dial this morning myself...it was chilly this morning for sure. And last night...not sure what is going on with the weather.

Hubby says 'bring on the cold!" He is a gas fitter, has a gas fireplace business. There is ONLY business when it is cold...who cares if their fireplace works when it's warm out?

I'd kill for some cold weather right about now. It hit 102F here yesterday. Simply disgusting.

at 11am, it is already 82 degrees here with 83% humidity. Looking forward to a high of 95 humid degrees again today here in Fort Fun, Indiana. They moved my son's football practice to 7:30am this morning b/c there is a heat warning.

I gotta agree. It sounds pretty delightful to me also. I'm SO tired of sweating. Thankfully, I'll be in cooler climes for a while soon, myself.

9C (48F) and raining here in the chuk.........brrrr.....furnace kicked in overnight - first time since May methinks.

but it's better than in 2003 - we had snow on Aug 2 when I got up in the morning. And last year it snowed on Oct 7 and stayed. It was a long winter and I am not ready for summer to be gone yet.

Yah, when Lucy and Luis were here, it was horrible and cold the whole week. I was feeling really bad for them. THen Lucy told me they were actually enjoying it. She said their daughter actually couldn't WAIT to get here for it to be cold...she just craved the feeling of being cold, of wearing a sweater and pants.

I don't want to be actually cold, just cooler. And I do sometimes like to wear the cooler weather clothes. Except when it gets to the point that I have to wear socks and shoes and a coat. Sweater-weather would be nice though. Sweaters and flips.

I've been complaining about the weather here too. I swear I can't take it anymore. We've had what???? 2 weeks of really warm weather. I didn't even look at the temperature this morning. All I know is it's August, not October. SOMEONE NEEDS TO TELL FRICKIN' MOTHER NATURE!!!

Whew, glad I got that off my chest
