If it's any consolation to you, I had one hand over the heat dial this morning myself...it was chilly this morning for sure. And last night...not sure what is going on with the weather.
Hubby says 'bring on the cold!" He is a gas fitter, has a gas fireplace business. There is ONLY business when it is cold...who cares if their fireplace works when it's warm out?

at 11am, it is already 82 degrees here with 83% humidity. Looking forward to a high of 95 humid degrees again today here in Fort Fun, Indiana. They moved my son's football practice to 7:30am this morning b/c there is a heat warning.

9C (48F) and raining here in the chuk.........brrrr.....furnace kicked in overnight - first time since May methinks. but it's better than in 2003 - we had snow on Aug 2 when I got up in the morning. And last year it snowed on Oct 7 and stayed. It was a long winter and I am not ready for summer to be gone yet.

I've been complaining about the weather here too. I swear I can't take it anymore. We've had what???? 2 weeks of really warm weather. I didn't even look at the temperature this morning. All I know is it's August, not October. SOMEONE NEEDS TO TELL FRICKIN' MOTHER NATURE!!!
Whew, glad I got that off my chest |
