Van Halen-- Is it REALLY going to happen?

Vegas should post odds on the whether or not this tour will even start, much less complete all 50 dates without:
Eddie getting mad at David and kicking him out
or
Someone ending back in rehab

Does anyone know if Marc Anthony is going to sit this one out???
I am a huge Van Halen (and Van Hagar) fan but know not to hold my breath for this tour to happen.....................

Probably not and even if it does it just won’t be the same. I first saw them when they were a backup band for Journey. David Lee hadn’t even bleached his hair yet.

One of the best sets I have ever seen.

They will be announcing their tour dates on Monday, they are rumored to be doing 50 dates all across the USA. Marc Anthony will not be touring with them unfortunately but Eddie Van Halens son will be taking his place and the kid is pretty damn good.

I am also a huge VH fan but prefer their old stuff so this is right up my alley!!

We saw them a couple of years ago. Eddie was so drunk that he fell over. He kept playing, but just from the ground. Sammy looked over at him and stopped, mid-song and walked off the stage. After about 10 minutes of flopping around, he finally got back up and Sammy came back. I don't believe it was staged, but of course the crowd went crazy when he fell and they just went with it.

It was an entertaining show, but I like the old Van Halen.

I saw an interview with him recently and he looked much better than that. I think that is just a really bad shot of him because in the interview I saw he didnt look nearly that bad.

We went to the Cabo Wabo cantina when we were in Cabo, there was a pretty good band playing....I asked the waiter "Where's Sammy?"

I think he had heard that a few times before.

He laughed and said that Sammy comes in October (probably for the Bisbee Black and Blue marlin tourney I guess?) and plays there around xmastime.

Michael Anthony is playing with Sammy and the Wabos. Eddie's son Wolfie is supposed to be playing bass for this tour.

sammy plays in cabo in october for his birthday. this year it's his 60th. he still puts on a great show. he plays at cabo wabo tahoe a few times a year.
