Again, your first statement, while very likely true, certainly does not in any way lead to the second conclusion. Your second conclusion appears to be significantly likely to be in error based upon the vast preponderance (is that like saying really, really vast amount?) of scientific evidence.

There is very good reason for cautious avoidance of the manageable, negative consequences of your unscientific conclusion being wrong and the preponderance of scientific evidence being right on the subject of human-caused global warming/climate change.

There is no evidence, let alone a vast preponderance. It is all theory based on models. Models like the one here:

Oops, what we meant was FLOODS.

Well see there we're just too apart to continue, I think. To me it's like saying that there's no evidence of poverty in the U.S. or something. It's just so outside what I see as reality that I don't think there's a point to any further discussion.

So again it's the same discussion as before...

There is NO evidence is just an astounding statement. It's hard to imagine what you think of all these scientists working on this with NO evidence. They don't say there's NO counterevidence or problematic evidence...

Well, Steve, the answer to this riddle is easy. Cite some real evidence. Not theory or opinion but real, solid evidence. X = Y and such.

BTW, evidence of manmade global warming. No one is arguing that we aren't going through a warming period.

The scientists have cited billions and billions (deference to Carl Sagan RIP) of scientific articles to try to warn you of the reality of what they are seeing...you choose not to see......we cannot help you with this.

There's a lengthy thread on all that here, if you like.

I have it on good authourity that the BBC is so un-American as to be British! How could anyone possibly believe them when they have an entire section of their news website dedicated to reporting on the news, opinion and explanation of climatic change:BBC | Climate Change

Your right in that it may 'just be a warming period'. However, naturally, the earth has never warmed this much on it's own...............unless it's trying to kill itself........but again, that's probably just mans fault too

Well then it's hundreds against thousands, I guess (edit: which pretty much defines the point involving preponderance, actually).

Psssst -- you guys -- I think I hear Scott coming!
