Along the Ocean there where lots of Pelicans flying by, there are large Iguanas (but they are all over the Yucatan), little Crabs and we saw a Coatimundi running into the bushes when he/she saw us (cute). And we saw a very large Barracuda super close to shore in super clear beautiful water. That was actually pretty close to the IB Resorts where the rocks are in the water to the south of the resorts. I bet he is the resident Barracuda there and he seemd territorial if you know what I mean. He had that look in his eyes.
You will see even more Wildlife right in the Resort Jungle areas and they brought in Animals like Flamingo's, Ostriches, Deer etc. I hear there is a wild Spider Monkey Family living there. The IB seems to take good care of the Animals from what we could see.
