Don't rely on the forecast.
It's more often wrong than not.
Other than that noone can safely predict for you what the weather will be like. Rest assured though that even with occasional showers you will enjoy your time there.

The weather here is gorgeous.
If it does rain head for the nearest bar.

As has been said many times before on this forum, if it does rain in Playa, it rains hard for a short time and then the sun comes out.

The weather forecast for next week says all clouds. I'm worried I'm not going to be able to....

The weather here is quite variable. The weather forecasts shed very little light on what actually happens. They'll call for 7 days of clouds and we'll have a great week.
We understand that you want nice weather, everyone does. Luckily, it's mostly nice here. No one can tell you what next week has in store for you.

FWIW, according to NOAA, that appears to be a good week away from actually reaching us. Let's hope it just dries up and blows away before then.

Look, we have our own Hurricane Chicken Little!

(just kidding of course)

Kathleen, none of the sites I have are showing that one. Can you tell me which one you're finding 91L on?

It always says that about the weather. I was there 2 weeks ago and it rained a couple days, but it blows over quickly. We had one big storm over night and the others were usually in the afternoon, but it cools the place down a bit, which is great. We ever got wet in the evening walking around. When it rains in the afternoon while at the beach, we would just run into the water! Don't worry. It's very tropical so a little rain is OK.

Have a great trip. I miss it so much!

Is this what you mean? I'm not really sure how to read this stuff, since I don't enjoy worrying about storms that won't hit us. Like most people here, I wait until it looks more sure.

Looks like that's it. Not one to worry about at all for us here, besides a little overcast and a few showers, it seems to me. Of course, I would prefer that NOTHING AT ALL be happening out there, personally. I don't worry, but I do like to be aware and be mentally prepared if it turns into something. There's probably a little more work involved living here in Paamul to get ready for a storm than there is in concrete homes where things can be better protected.
