Are you talking about Royal Palm Condos? They're well located, but not on the beach by any stretch. About a 15 minute walk to Mamitas or Kool Beach Club, but I walk real slow.

Yep, Bump walks slowly. Royal Palms are 3 blocks from the beach, under 15 minutes.

Do you mean Playa Palms? Those are beachfront.

**edit, hey, windycity, nice avatar! We love Brent Parkin 'round these parts**

Damned straight I walk slow. I'm an old fart with bad wheels. But if I walked any quicker, I might miss seeing all the pretty young girls on the street. (I followed you for about 1/2 a mile one day last February, Heather, and I'll bet you never even noticed me, did you m'dear? I call it an appreciation for beauty, but I think The Men In The Shiny Buttons would likely call it "stalking".)

It's been over a year since we stayed at Club Yebo so maybe it has changed. We would not stay there again.
From what I understand the Royal Palms are considerably nicer. Are they priced similarly?

I'm with Snowbirds & Anna -- go with the Royal Palms.

Here's an earlier discussion of Club Yebo on these forums.

We are Yebo now. I wouldn't come here. The people who work here are so friendly and nice but the way it is run, is pretty bad! We will be moving soon!
Just posted about this place in Playa Palms thread. Things are much better here! Can't say enough about the staff - Viktor, JuanCarlos and the pool guy!
