Thank You Busymamma
Hi everyone, this is a message I received from Kevin this morning asking me to post it here
I would like to add that Alex Huis, Wilhelm and Jessy "the Deutch Army" are planning a building trip to help an older couple who sell fruit downtown in a cart rebuild their home, they are using privately collected funds, they are bringing an electrician and a carpenter too. James Endersby and his family have purchased 15 bags of clothes and shoes that are going there tomorrow hopefully. We are leaving tomorrow at 8, he has been there already and has a huge heart, his huge heart can be found on saturdays at the peanut pet shelter washing puppies! There is an international group of divers going there for Earth day to clean the reef in groups of 80 volunteers at a time, the group of Mahahualeñas are working hard addressing school issues, the government is building and handing out concrete homes in km 55 We have been there many times and it is great to see how everything is looking better, people are starting to recover. Kevin is really excited about a group from the US who fly doctors to needy areas and might work with the Costa Maya and new Foundation "from the Heart" he asked me to post this in the forums. I know Tara will not want, like all the others I mentioned the public recognition of what she is doing but, sorry Tara, Kevin asked.... so MUCHAS GRACIAS !!!! looking forward to seeing you in July quote from Kevin°°°° Hola Claudia, I am attaching photos that were taken this morning of an AED which I asked Dona Maria to present to the Centro de Salud and Dr. Ricardo on behalf of Tara Shields in the US. Could you post this on the forums? This equipment, like all the others, is on loan to be used at the doctors’ discretion. You may want to let people know what this is used for. Dr. Ricardo was so grateful for this that he was pretty much speechless and sends his “gracias amable” to Tara who arranged for this gift. We are expecting to have plans for the clinic in the coming weeks. Then we will start the real work of creating budgets and plans so that we can put the information on a new website. This will be a good way to let everyone know how things progress and how they can help if they choose. end of quote ah, by the way, the gift is an Automatic External Defibrilator. I cant wait to see it!
