I was 9 in 1979....so not much.
Rainbow socks with toes....bell bottoms.....playing with my Fisher Price airplane and Playmobil and Little People.....bad hair .....finding my parent's copy of the Kama Sutra .....that's about it.

For some reason, I just remembered my controversial "Growing Up Skipper" doll. Skipper was Barbie's little sister. When you spun her arm, she got a bit taller and her boobs popped out. Didn't sell that doll for very long.

Too bad I don't still have it, they're worth a fortune now.

Green Machine...sheesh. I didn't even have a Big Wheel.

Evil Knievel toy motorcycle (you know the one)
full-length zip-up pj's with those white plastic footies that were awesome on hardwood (guys HAD to remember to where underwear with those, or at least be very careful zipping them up!!! ...shiver...)

How about hot wheeels tracks!! Man I learned to hate that toy, them flimsy orange track sections made great whips..
