You are such a sweetheart. Yes, please send me the details. I will talk to the group about it and very well send them on Sunday. I will probably stay at the resort and unwind and try to prepare my tuesday wedding. 30 days to go!

Okay - I'm down to a week before GRP! Hubby and I leave for Atlanta one week from today. Fly out Sat. 5/31 a.m. I know several on this board that will arrive 6/3 and a few days after that. Anybody on here gonna be arriving on 5/31? Anybody from Alabama? We're there until Fri. 6/6. Thanks to everybody sharing your trip experience(s) at GRP. I think it has helped me prepare. We have been to Cancun 12 times. Playacar area 1 time. Looking forward to relaxing...

We're down to 3 days before our departure. Where are all my new "buddies" on here that will be at the GRP next week? Seems that everyone is off shopping or something!!! Can't wait. I did receive an email from the resort confirming my swim up room. I will post my review after my return. ***Linnysue - I will see if they will let me leave my extra insect spray for you***

Hildyp: I remembered you and your husband from earlier post (and the one describing you!!!) We will be well into our vacation when you two arrive. I'll have all the kinks worked out when you arrive and will have sampled all the speciality drinks so you won't have to go through that! (I'm so kind!) We leave GRP on Fri. 6/6, so I think we may can only meet up for drinks on our last night. Look us up! (The picture on my post is recent. It was taken a couple of months ago 4/08 on our latest cruise.

Weather next week
I just looked at weather.com. Scatterd thunderstorms everyday next week. (60%) chance every day. Should I be worried? Haven't been to the area in about 5 years and don't remember if daily rains are normal? The temperature is still in the low to mid 80's.

Hi, I just got home last night after a short but for the most part fun time at the GSP. I'll post about that experience later. I too was concerned about the weather as the forecast was calling for thunerstorms. It was partly cloudly and very humid for the first couple of days. On Sunday there were clear blue skies with a breeze....it was beautiful! No doubt every day was very warm but, then being from the Northwest, anything over 75 is HOT! On Monday we took a tour (BEST DAY) out to Chichen Itza. This was a three hour ride each way from the resort. We hit a rain storm going and coming. It was very hot and sunny and at the ruins though. I loved the hotel out there and would considered staying there sometime. The tour encluded a Mexican luncheon which was fabulous! Hope you have a great time!

Hi everyone,
I haven't had a chance to be on the forum for a while, I am still looking forward to seeing you all at the party pool bar in the late afternoon-eve. I will look for the guy with the nipple rings and gal w/ black hair w/ him. I have checked out the weather also, I hope it's kind of like florida---rain a bit then sunny all day!!! I have to say I was never worried about it until now that it is a week away, some of the reports on trip advisor are still bad, and it's 6 mo into opening...I am one that will have a great time no matter what, but you just cant help but want it perfect anyway! Has anyone heard about the activities going on in the resort? Anything really fun? Talk w/ you all soon. Amber and Ryan |

21 days before we leave, all 55 of us. I'm getting nervous for the big day because reviews are not very good these days, especially regarding weddings/renewal of the vows. I'm a very positive person and I know that everything will be fine but I was wondering if anyone out there on this forum had a ceremony ,wedding or renewal of the vows and I would like to read their review. I was at the GSP for one week in April and I loved it but seems like the hotel is going down again. I'm sure that we will have a great time in June and after our visit, the reviews are going to be better.
