Last year it coincided with our vacation here so we went and had a great time. This year it's a week later and we can't go either. Nuts.

And if you've never heard Marcus Miller, do yourself a favour and give him a listen. I've seen him live a few times and I have his first CD and he's one hot bass player.

I read about this whilst looking for tickets to the sold-out Tower Of Power show in my area.! That is one HELL of a lineup for only 3 headliners. ToP alone is a great show.
I saw Marcus Miller last summer. He puts on a hot show. He and drummer Poogie Bell conducted a clinic at a local music store the day after. If you've never listened to the electric bass as a lead instrument before, check out what it can sound like in Marcus' hands.
Great music, amazing setting. I might have to spend some freq flier miles on this.
