New Orleans becoming a Latino city
NPR just reported that the Hispanic population of New Orleans has tripled since Katrina - mostly doing construction.
But some of those freaking crackers down there are banning taco trucks - mammyjammers. |

I didn't realize it was just your opinion, I thought you were saying something factual. I actually did want a link so I could get the information. Is wanting to know actual facts so very wrong for you?

it did say this:
The Hispanic growth rate over the July 1, 2003 to July 1, 2004 period was 3.6% - higher than any other ethnic group in the United States, and in fact more than three times the rate of the nation's total population (at 1.0%). The projected Hispanic population of the United States for July 1, 2050, is of 105.6 million people. According to this projection, Hispanics will constitute 25% of the nation’s total population on that date.[5] |
