So, finally here is the last installment... excuse me if I post pics I've already posted but I am too tired to check. Haven't been entirely healthy lately and although I am not really sick I am VERY tired all the time.

These pics are from Easter Island.

Painting at my hotel.

Vulcano crater

The 'navel of the world'. This stone is said to have 'Karma'

Anakena beach

A coral tree

Hanga Roa (the only village on the island)

A petroglyph

Liked that pink bougainvilla-spot

These are the houses where the clans met in former times to elect the 'birdman' (whoever watched the film 'Rapa Nui' knows this place).

A common sight in Hanga Roa

In the caves:

Hidden entry

Grave in a cave

Wow. This looks like the Inca walls near Cusco in Peru.

Actually Patricia (our guide) told us that this wall is similar to the ones in Macchu Picchu. And nobody knows whether the ones in Macchu Picchu or that Ahu (altar) on Easter Island had been built first. This is the only Ahu on Easter Island looking like this, the other ones were built in a different style.
