Calling All Artists

I have been considering picking up the brushes again and try and tap some creative energy.....paint for fun, relaxation and hopefully come up with something worth hanging on a wall.

I was curious as to what mediums you use. Oils, watercolors? Pottery or any other form of creative art?

I apologize in advance if there is already an existing thread.......

Oh.....I can just imagine all of the beautiful art you come up with.

You need to scan your scribbles and put them on the forum so I can analyze your thoughts.

One more thing......I'll need the starting scribble.....the one before the wine....and then........the "real" one.

We use Crayons. (4 1/2 and 1 1/2 year olds). That is about as artistic as we get.

Have you tried the melt and drip method of crayon art?
The backseat of my car is a masterpiece.

Here's a finished piece that's already here. I'm still in therapy.

I wish could see it. Maybe dial up on my end? I'm looking for metal with paint or some kind of erosion technique. Is this what you did?

Cost is all relative, no? ... and size. The sun was 1.5 metres and the total width with my pictures was 17 metres.

Actually talking of wine, I'm drinking Sangria while working, wearing swimming trunks, looking out on palm trees in glorious sunshine. Gosh how I don't miss London

Now, I'm really frustrated. Hey! I'm supposed to be inspired!

Will you at least explain what you did, Mindbender?

You would love it even more at the moment. A 3 day tube strike is ongoing and all but 3 tiddler lines are completely out! There's supposed to be another 3-dayer next week too. Its complete and utter carnage.

I really envy you. I wish my current work was transferable as easy as yours is. Maybe I should switch over to home staging instead.... And, in all seriousness, I am genuinely impressed with your work. I look forward to meeting you in person when I am there and seeing some more.

Shudder. Worse in the winter though. The nightmares are coming back.

Getting back on topic, is the lizard with his head shot off some kind of performance art?
