Starfish,
Those are the first rates I got too. When I asked about the renovations they told me those rates are for 09 (after the renovations). The rates above are for this February (08). Ask them specifically and you should get the better rate at least this year. Last edited by Ms.Montana : 09-05-2007 at 02:32 PM. |

It looks like the rates will be significantly higher next season so if you want to try the Fusion this would be a good year. While the rates are still reasonable. I think you will like it. It's very basic but clean and great food. They had a hard time when Kim first left last year but from the reviews on tripadvisor it seems things are good again. Again, we were there the week after Kim left and had a great experience.

We personally didn't think Fusion was worth $120/night for the ocean front room...at least not the room we had. The curtains were falling down, the sink in the bathroom was full of mold around the faucet, the light fixture was a bulb hanging from a wire, the toilet kept leaking, little red ants were invading the bathroom, and the fridge ran constantly and sounded like a plane was taking off. The maid was nice, though!
![]() In their defense, we didn't bother to ask them to fix anything cuz there was so much to fix, they would've been in the room more than we were! ![]() We enjoyed the view tremendously, so we sat out on the balcony most of the time when we were just hanging out. So if the rates are now $140/night for that room and it hasn't been updated since last winter, I'd say stay in the garden rooms...they seem much nicer. |
