Thank you so much...it does take time to do these trip reports....find what pics you want, put them into photobucket, resize them, put it in the thread (and hope my internet doesn't go down in the meantime) I am so glad you are enjoying it! I was never really drawn to Europe until I went to Italy this past January. My next European vacation will be either Spain or Greece! Hopefully in January!

Our last night in Belguim ........After the North Sea and Brugge we were pretty beat, we go back to the hotel to re-group.... for a total of about 10 minutes! I was hungry, again.....so Tim and I head to the Grote Market, stop at a cafe to have a few beers then eat, well a few turned into ALOT! Time to meet up with everyone at another bar! No dinner for me tonight!
A nice group shot!

Kelley and Tim's cousin Sarah.

Tim and Joel

Tim and Aunt Kay

Tom (Sarah's boyfriend) and me.

Joel and beer!

Around midnight Kelley and I head to the hotel, we are done for the night. I think Tim and Joel stumbled back about 2am! The next day was Amsterdam and meeting up with TeeZet!!

Brugge = wow!

Seeing your pics makes me want to go and see Brugge personally all the more! And it's not a matter of "if" I will go, but more like "when"!

Wow, Linda!!! I'm running out of words but yet feel I must post and tell you how very much I'm enjoying your report.
How long was the entire trip? Seems like it would take weeks to do all that you've done so far.
I really loved the color of this building and thought the hanging moon was pretty cool! I've got a "thing" for moons and stars.
So looking forward to more..........and more!!

It's so much fun to read a trip report from a place you've been and loved! Your photos are absolutely amazing, Linda. And YOU, my dear, look fabulous!

When I visited Belgium a few years ago, me reaction was very similar. Brussels was okay. I was there a few days for work. There were some fascinating parts, but I was surprised by the prevalence of grey concrete. Then I went to Brugge and was absolutely blown away by the charm and the history.

We're mulling over a winter trip. I was all set to cash in the frequent flyer miles for and head to Mexico. But after seeing your report/photos, I'm having a hankering for Europe!

So many places, so little money/miles. You are so lucky to work for an airline!! Thanks for sharing your adventure.

Day 7.....our last day in Europe, but.....this is the day we travel from Leuven to Amsterdam and get to finally meet TeeZet (Tony). Tony and I had been emailing back and forth on what time to meet up at our hotel, the plan was that we were going to arrive at the hotel no later than 2pm. I think we arrived around 1:30ish or so, Tony was waiting for us at a cafe on the corner of where our hotel was located.....he recognized us right away!
Train ride from Leuven to Amsterdam, we changed trains in Mechelen and missed the earlier train to AMS by just a few minutes......

Lunch on the train

We check into the hotel, run up to our room to put the bags away and were off!
Some first sights of Amsterdam!

Lunch! We find an Argentinian restaurant. This is the only food pic I took

After lunch, we walk, and walk somemore. As Tony, our WONDERFUL tour guide points out different sights!
The Rijksmuseum.

Tony took this one of me!

We are on our way to the Van Gogh museum. Originally Kelley just wanted to go in, but we all decided to, and were really glad we did. I only got a few pics, Tim or Joel got busted for taking pics (we weren't suppose to)

More walking.....

Tony takes us to Rhembrant Park, and a cafe....all this walking is making us thirsty!

Kelley shows off her new clog slippers!

There was a little dog running around the cafe. I was kind of worried about him but he wasn't skinny and didn't look lost. Turns out he was with his owner, I see his owner get on a motorcycle, what's he gonna do with the dog? I then see him pull out something like a book bag and put the dog in it! He was nice enough to pose for me!
