Good luck in the decision process. Ya'll have owned businesses before, so your eyes are likely wide open. I'd be skeered to, but iffen ya'll buy it, we'll have to find a way to get down there and have a beer and a grilled something.

Received the campground tickets in the mail, yesterday!!

Quiet campground folks were fast in sending the tickets.

We just found out that Dave gets to go to the Country Faire. He gets Thursday through Tuesday off. If we leave early on Thursday...around six or seven in the am, we should get in around three in the afternoon. Woohoo!

Trailer parts arrived while we were gone this weekend.

Gonna have to break into the retirement fund to pay for the gasoline.

No "Bad" words on this "Thing" day.

I hear SUV's are being dumped by owner and dealers. Might have to start looking for a new one (or 2 year old one). Mine's 9 years old now. I can only carry 5 people, I'd like to be able to carry 7. I don't care about mileage. I drive about 50 miles a week in it (Saturdays only with all seats filled), and on vacations.

You'll definitely be able to get something very nice. Our truck has been a blessing during our move and renovation of Dave's house. It's a Ford 350 diesel and as much as trash and other stuff that we had to haul, it saved us some money. Also, the camper goes on it. It's our home during all of our vacations, except when we go to Mexico. So it's a keeper.

Trying to figure out how to make run past Syl and John on the way to this meet (I don't think it's going to be possible.) We won't be able to leave until Wed AM, and will have to make a banzai run to get there by Thurs afternoon. (I hate banzai runs).

Maybe a stop on the way back, but again, work might prevent that. There has been talk of other stops on the way back, but again I'm not sure we can do it, because of the banzai run back home.

Left front tire repaired on the truck.
New spare for the trailer.
New full tank of propane for the trailer.

Dave loaded the camper on the truck. It is now the Pachyderm. He has filled the water tank and charged the batteries. He'll take the camper to get it serviced later this week and get propane.
