I don't know about that.
Bonny ain't letting my margy glass go empty tonight. I'll have to set the cruise control (no it isn't going to be set to 55, I want to get there before next century). One of my employees said I should count on averaging 60 mph, he did this same drive last week. |

We were trying to figure out how to drop by Syl before we left or on the way up. Ain't going to happen.
Now if we are looking at an early arrival on Monday, might make a long detour to Los Olivos on Monday. I hope wine tasting rooms are open on Monday's. If that doesn't work, gonna have to stop in Los Olivos sometime in the next month and see a good friend. |

Tomorrow, I have to go shopping for likker. You like Patron, right? I'll go to Costco to get beer, blueberries (Dave loves 'em) and some other stuff. Tomorrow night, we'll load up the camper. It's charged but it needs fresh water. We'll probably leave Boise around 9:00 and get into Quiet Camp around 7:00pm becaue we will be taking out time. |

Today's accomplishments
Totals: 10 hours of driving. 2 gasoline stops 3 Rest stops Combined total time stopped during 5 stops, about 20 minutes. Highest temparature today, 111 degrees in Sacramento. Current temperature about 102 degrees and smoky. Miles 560 miles Layover destination; Redding, CA Small problem. There is a small fire(s) near Redding. Hotels and Motels are booked with fire fighters and evacuees. Let's just say, we are in a NoTell Motel. This isn't quite Jacko's place, hell this isn't quite our tent trailer, worse yet there's no fire fighters or evacuees in this place. Dinner: Denny's or the Lumberjack restaurant. Bonny chose Lumberjack. Too bad, a little while later I noticed the Cattleman's Restaurant, I'm sure Bonny would have preferred that. Bonny had a 12oz Prime Rib. I had a salad. Bonny had 3 no-name Merlots I had 3 Sierra Nevada Pale Ale's I don't think it was enough to drink, I can still smell old cigarettes in the NoTell room. Tomorrow Me thinks we will be hitting the road sooner than we had originally planned tomorrow. 320 miles to go. Last edited by MikeW; 07-10-2008 at 12:06 AM.. |

Just got done helping Dave load up the camper. Got plenty of beer in different flavors, the strong stuff, two bottles of wine, limes, fixins for some fresh salsa, fruit, peanut butter and jelly, (I am an addict). Also, that bottle of triple sec that we opened while Ron and Kathy were here.
Lemon and lime press is in the camper along with the French press coffee maker. Still have to pack some clothes. I got the list made up, and piles of stuff, so all I have to do is throw everything in a bag. The teenager down the street will be watering the plants and grass. She's not too embarrassed to come over to the Adam's Family yard/Munsters to water the plants. Bless her heart.
