Vallarta Palace

Hi Has anyone stayed at the Vallarta Palace or the Riu Vallarta Hotel? We are wanting to stay at either one of these places in March. Last time we went we stayed at Aventure Spa and Palace and just loved it. Lots to do!! So if anyone could help me that would be great.

I haven't stayed at either, but I've sent people to both and know a bit about the properties.

They're both nice resorts, but the Vallarta Palace is more upscale than the Riu Vallarta. Nicer, more modern rooms, double jacuzzi in each, the included Palace Passport Promotion deal, etc. Then again, you're going to pay substantially more for the Palace than you will for the Riu so my guess is overall cost will determine what works best for you. If cost was not a concern, I'd pick the Vallarta Palace.
