Great trip report Josef, i am enjoying it immensley, the doggy pics are cool, it was apleasure having you here to meet the pups , shame it couldnt have been longer, but next time, poor Susan..... oh thanks for being soooo descriptive too ..

So just what does keep half a ton of shopping from flying down those escalators ive tried pushing one of them cart things ... no way

I once got a bad cart, and it started rolling down! I caught it right away, but had to hold on to it for dear life. That sucker was pretty heavy with all my groceries in it.

So, there must be something on the wheels of the carts that locks into the ramp thingee.

Fantastic trip report and great sense of humor!
Sorry to hear about Susans illness- I know how it feels just too well, it happens to me EVERY single time when there..........the good side is that - if it happens at the start- I can usually eat whereever and whatever I want and not get sick again.
I am already dreading it happening this time when there.

And sorry to hear she didn't like the ceviche- I LOVE ceviche and my mouth got all watery when I saw that pic. I sort of live off of that stuff and guacomole when in Mex.

Thanks! This is the first time one of us has gotten really sick when in mexico. We aren't exactly sure what made her sick because I ate some of everything she ate, including the cheviche. Granted, I didn't have nearly as much of it as she did, but i still ate some.

It's pretty funny about guacamole too. before going on this trip, I really didn't like it. But at La Adela and again in Coba (which i'll be talking about in my next day's report), I had absolutely amazing guac. I don't forsee myself eating it everywhere, but I make have a go at making it one of these days. Salsa, however, is a different story.

Thanks Andy! We really enjoyed helping out, our only wish is that we could have washed a few more!

I wanted to ask you - didn't you take a picture of me with your camera when I was washing the dogs? If so, could you please post it or send it to me? I want to throw it in the report.

Next time you get to wash them all ......... i did take a pic but im sure it was with your camera , ive just double checked and no pics on mine .

As focused as I was with my illness that day, I recall you having issues with your camera - with its battery or something. That was right before we left.

Thats right, i couldnt get the damn ting to work, but im positive i took a pic of you both, and im sure it was with your camera (cos it was big n fancy)....maybe i didnt take i properly
