Thanks.
I'm glad you enjoyed it ![]() It's also one of my favourites. If you visited my gallery, you may have noticed this other shot called "Friends", where the same boy as in "Curly Toes" is looking up the street at a couple of other kids: ![]() It was quite an intriguing situation because "Curly Toes" never stopped staring at the kids up the street the whole time I was taking his picture. I never found out what was going on between them, but the moment sure made for a couple of nice shots. Thanks again

If you happen to be there when we head into town for the photo shoot, maybe you can be our official guide. I'll sneak pictures of you during our tour and I guarantee I'll capture a few good ones. I still have to meet the person who doesn't have a good side: ![]()

The pictures posted here were taken with a Nikon D70. All the pre-2005 ones in my galleries were taken with an Olympus C-2100UZ. The rest are with the D70. Hope this helps

Phil- that is such a sweet offer. Unfortunatly judging by our counters I won't get there in time. Unless you plan on coming back later this year again..........plus having not been in Playa for a long time I would be the perfect guide to get lost, not to get good pics.

[quote=LIZLEWIS42;903731]Wow-o-Wow...
![]() All so great but the 'pepper seller' has such a beautiful face... Imagine what she looked like 40 years ago?...[/QUOTE And she was beautiful on the inside too. I always approach the people I photograph to ask if I can take their picture. And after I'm done, I like to give them a few pesos to thank them for letting me invade their privacy with my camera. Well, when I offered "Selling Peppers" a few coins after taking her picture, she looked at me with a quizzical look on her face. Next thing I know she's offering me some of her peppers in exchange for the money. I had to explain that I did not want anything for the money and that it was my way of saying thanks for the pictures. She gave me a big smile, laughed and thanked me as I walked away. She was a really special lady. Anyway, thanks for the comments on the pictures

But, by the sounds of it, you'd be the perfect guide Getting lost is an excellent way to find great off the beaten path photo ops you would not have found otherwise.
