weddings at ai resorts

Hello everyone. We are planning on a small wedding in pdc. We will have 30-40 guest some with small children. We have done some research and are thinking about either the Barcelo maya or the Sandos playacar. Does anyone have info on the food, beaches, seen any weddings there. Weare planning on late may early june. Do you know if we should go through a travel agent or on line. Any info would help us a ton, thanks!
