For my Dad
This is not something that I would normally do but I would do anything for my Dad so..........
Whatever your preferred method of getting good thoughts into the universe is I would appreciate the effort today. My Dad has had 3 boughts of pneumonia this year. The last time he went to the dr the x-ray showed a small mass in one of his lungs. Thinking it could be an infection the dr gave him some meds and told him to come back in 4 weeks for a CT scan. Well yesterday the scan showed that the mass had grown and they scheduled an "emergency" appointment with a pulmunologist (sp?) this afternoon. My Dad had throat cancer 7 years ago and this could be what we've all been secretly fearing in the back of our minds. My Dad is an otherwise healthy, good lookin', Harley ridin', workin' out, married to a woman 17 years younger, kinda guy...he has always enriched our lives and inspired us to live life on our own terms. I guess that's all....the words are really hard to find right now. Thanks. Last edited by Kellyk; 09-20-2007 at 01:11 PM.. |

Thanks Peeps, you're the best...but I already knew that
![]() His appointment is in about 15 minutes. I don't know what they're going to do as far as tests etc, or if we'll know anything at all today but I'm sure he'll feel the positive energy all around him. Thanks again.
