Hacienda San Jose Condos

Has anybody stayed at Hacienda San Jose Condominiums ? They look nice and the price is right. Did a search, nothing came up.

My wife and I and a friend stayed there a year ago last June and loved it. We found it convenient to all the north end offers, as well as not far from the rest of town. The only down side was we got lazy for one or two days and never left the pool to get to the beach

These are some of our most popular rentals, particularly for those who know Playa (have been here before) and so they know what a good deal they are.

Stop looking

We stayed there in March 2007 and you will not find a better location or
value in Playa.Located in the north(quiet) part of town only a quick walk
to Mamitas and Kool which is in the best beach area of town. The only problem we had was with the booking co., Bric International, they
charged our CC for the rental after we had paid by check. At first I had
a problem getting reimbursed and had to furnish a copy of the canceled
check but all was taken care of.Check the deposit part of the contract,
the contract I signed was for a $500.00 refundable deposit on a CC that's
howw they had my CC#,but 2 months later, after I stayed, they charged
my CC $50.00 which the office in Playa said was their new policy-to charge
everyone a $50.00 (insurance)fee,so factor that into the rental rate.Like I said you can't beat the value, hope this helps.

Hmm, that is interesting, we work with them all the time and this hasn't come up before, the 50 usd charge. I'll inquire about it. Was that listed in the contract you signed?

I just wanted to follow up with what I learned about this incident with the 50 usd. Here is the message I received from the manager, Kristin Roehmer

There was a short period of time that in lieu of charging a $500 REFUNDABLE
security deposit (sometimes much greater than the rental rate) we offered an
insurance policy for $50 non refundable. We no longer offer this because if
the client did not break or damage something they were still charged which
our company did not feel was fair. We have since resumed our original policy
of a $500 REFUNDABLE security deposit. If we have a client that was quoted a refundable deposit and charged for a non-refundable deposit we would of
course up hold the quote and refund them immediately. Thank you for bringing
this to our attention.

So Ken, if your contract was for a 500 usd refundable deposit, but they charged you for the 50 usd non-refundable deposit, Kristin has indicated you are entitled to a refund of that 50 usd.

btw, this illustrates another good reason to rent from Playa.info...because I can act as a liaison between you and the property managers or owners. Ken, I'm pretty sure you did rent through us, and I'd have been happy to clear this up for you earlier if I had only known.

Try looking into Playa Palms they have some one & two bedroom condos and the price is only $69/night up until Dec 19 then the rates go back up. It's Right on the Beach with a pool 5 feet from the sand. It's in a great location one block from 5th ave. Go to playapalms.com to check it out.

Just booked it with Heather!

I just booked a condo rental with Heather, and it looks to be a great location and value. Last year I stayed at the Royal Palms, another nice place, but I wanted to try something new in the same location more or less, the north end of town has some great spots, and it is quick and easy to get to the beach from that area. Good luck!
