Royal in Playa
Can someone tell how strick the RPD is about age. I know the age limit is 16 and my son is 15 and 1/2. Will I need to show I.D. or should I rebook somewhere else. I hate to do that.
Thanks |

If they suspect that he's under age 16, they will ask to see his passport. Since there are so few people his age that stay at this hotel, I have a suspicion that the hotel may indeed check ID.
There are so many family friendly resorts in the area, it may be a better idea to consider one of theose properties. What about the Gran Porto Real next door?

I am sure you may already be aware, but in case you aren't.... the Gran Porto Real next door is the same hotel chain as the Royal. The GPR is the family friendly one of the two. Its rates are slightly lower too. I am sure the hotel will make arrangements to transfer your booking over if you or your travel agent ask them.
